Curriculum Vitae Sat Jiwan Singh Ministry of Information Technology
He starts his way in 1983 in the growing computer science industry, engaging with a Commodore 64, using his knowledge of combinatorial analysis to develop a software application (“Super Tot 16”) for football matches bets (Totocalcio), written in Basic and machine language.

In 1987, he left the Faculty of Engineering and decided that software development will be his hobby job. He started to study the Apple Macintosh’s new object interface working for some years in the electronic publishing industry, participating in various initiatives of e-magazines and betting games about Football (La Schedina, Totocorriere, La Colonna Vincente).

In the early ‘90s he starts studying the operating system Microsoft Windows with which he will develop all his future software.

In 1989 he comes across Kundalini Yoga appreciating its potential for deep introspection and spiritual growth and in 1992 he became an educator of this discipline, changing his name to Sat Jiwan Singh and opening his yoga centre north of Rome (Bracciano, then Manziana). In 1997 he ceased this teaching activity to dedicate himself to a personal “path” still ongoing.

In 1993 he starts producing websites with HTML technology, then changing to ASP using one of the first object-oriented languages: Visual Basic.

At the end of the ‘90s, he switches to Visual C++ developing an application for lottery bets (Lotto Vincente Visual), and starts experimenting the Web-based Client-Server technology, that is software applications working on a remote server and usable through an internet browser, without needing any software locally installed on user’s computer. This technology soon became a de-facto standard for both corporate and personal software applications.

In 1998 he makes his first corporate website for an e-commerce application. In the early 2000s he starts using the new C# language increasing his experience with client-server software, and developing a corporate software application: a financial CRM (Customer Relationship Management).

Many other applications followed suit, the most important of which is GiapCMS, a platform for developing professional websites; in this work, Sat Jiwan put all his knowledge accumulated in so many years of experience in web software development.
